School of Agricultural Sciences offers high quality education with well qualified, trained and experienced team of faculty members to meet the complex agricultural challenges.

The School of Agricultural Sciences of Shri Venkateshwara University was established to make provisions for offering education in Agricultural and allied sciences, a combination of several relevant branches of science and technology. Agricultural and horticultural science programmes are a few of the courses that are gaining greater importance in the present technology of globalization because of the need to enhance Agri-Horticultural manufacturing and profitability, preserve herbal sources, protect the environment and face the challenges of current scenario of global environment via progressive and safer excessive-value manufacturing, processing and trade systems.

Being a multidisciplinary programme, in accumulation to the core faculty, a number of specialized faculty members from School of Agriculture Departments and Schools of multi-faculty SVU, take an active part in academic activities in agricultural and horticultural sciences. The main aim of these programmes is to make responsive to students to understand and improve Agri-Horticultural productivity, manage procedures & products and improve their employability and commercial skills in various relevant sectors.

The Department is dedicated to developing the eminence human resource, innovative technologies, and their distribution therefore on serve the farming community with commitment and zeal. Student’s will be exposed to purported specialised tutorial and analysis establishments, industries and real farming conditions. The University library has been increased with variety of books, e-books, and learning assets. The pedagogy includes of a considered mixture of standard and trendy tech-supported systems together with on-line study. Every student receives personal attention through IT administered observation and mentorship programmes, under the supervision of qualified faculties.
