The official notification for UP B.Ed Admission 2024 is out on 1st February 2024 with online registration starting from February 10th.
The deadline for submitting the B.Ed admission form in UP for 2024 is April 30th. After this date, they will accept late submissions till May 7th, subject to late fees.
Candidates can download their admit cards from 30th May onwards for the entrance exam scheduled on 9 June 2024. This year Bundelkhand University, Jhansi is the conducting authority for the UP B.Ed Admissions 2024.
Every year a new University/Institution conducts the UP B.Ed admission 2024. This year BU Jhansi will conduct the UP B.Ed admission process. Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in the country & people want to pursue B.Ed from a college in UP.
There are 1800 B.Ed colleges in UP that will take part in the UP B.Ed Admission process for the year 2024. Out of these, 1400 are private ones and the rest are public private institutions that offer a varied number of B.Ed seats.

UP B.Ed Admission 2024 Eligibility
Candidates applying for UP BEd admission 2024 must have secured at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science, Commerce, Humanities, Social Science, Law, or Integrated Law from a recognized board.
Those with a BTech should have attained 55% marks in the qualifying exam to be eligible for UP B.Ed admission.
SC/ST/PwD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks as per the guidelines and seat reservation laid out by the Uttar Pradesh administration.
Further, applicants appearing for their final examination, with undeclared results, can apply for UP BEd provisionally. However, they must submit proof of their results during the UP BEd counseling process.
The above eligibility clarifies that engineering graduates are now eligible for B.Ed as many engineers want to pursue teaching.
Documents required to fill the UP B.Ed admission form 2024
The candidates should be ready with the following documents for filling up the UP B.Ed online application form:
- Proof of Age (High school certificate)
- Mark sheet or degree for the qualifying examination (UG/PG)

Guidelines & Instructions for form submission
The candidates should keep the following things handy before form filling:
- Valid e-mail ID
- We advise applicants to use a valid e-mail ID of her or himself.
- Active Mobile Number
- The Mobile number provided by the applicant should be the same till the admission process is over
- We will send all relevant information regarding admission to the mobile number provided by the applicant
- Alternate Mobile Number (Preferably of parent)
- Alternate e-mail ID (Preferably of parent)
- Passport-size Photo in jpg format (upload size is 50 KB only, of 100DPI)
- Scanned Signature in jpg format (upload size is 50 KB only, of 100DPI)
- Left and Right Index Finger Impression in jpg format (upload size is 50 KB only, of 100DPI). In case any deformity on loss of index finder, the applicant may provide the thumb on any other finger. Impression of respective hand and continue to use the same throughout the process.
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Candidates should upload High School mark sheet or Certificate as proof of Date of Birth (Either mark sheet or certificate, mentioning the date of birth.
- Photo ID proof
- Candidates should upload any of these documents, i.e. Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, ADHAAR or any other (Please Mention) as photo ID Proof.
- Candidates should enter the certificate number mentioned in the document (Photo ID Proof) at the designated place in the online application form.
- Caste Certificate
- OBC, SC and ST applicants, should enter the number on the caste certificate issued by the competent authority & upload scanned copy of the certificate to avail reservation benefit.
- The authorities will reject the application, in case of any mismatch between the caste certificate number entered and that of the uploaded image of the same.
OBC Candidates
- OBC applicants of Non-Creamy Layer should have a caste certificate issued on or after 1st April 2021. We will verify the validity of this certificate from the Government website.
- OBC applicants of Creamy Layer should have a caste certificate issued on or after 1st April 2021. We will verify the validity of this certificate from the concerned government website.
- The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section (EWS*) applicants originally belonging to Uttar Pradesh will receive the benefit of reservation
We will consider Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other backward class and Economically Weaker Section applicants of other states as General candidates (UR) only.
*Applicants claiming reservation under EWS should upload certificate issued by the competent authority.
Income Certificate
Applicants should enter the Income Certificate Number at the time of filling up the Application form.
OBC applicants of a non-creamy layer should have an Income Certificate issued on or after 1st July 2023
Certificates and the related details, if NOT found on the Government website, will not be accepted. (In case of any mismatch between the Income certificate Number entered and that in the uploaded image of the same, the application will be rejected.)
Certificates for Weightage Claimed
- Applicant has to upload the certificate related to the weightage claimed and such certificate should be duly signed by the competent issuing authority. In case an applicant fails to upload the required certificate in proper format, the weightage claimed by the applicant will not be accepted.
- Documents related to Sub Category
- Applicants have to upload the certificate related to his/her Sub-Category and it should be duly signed by the competent issuing authority. In case an applicant fails to upload the certificate, or the certificate is not in proper format, the benefit of Sub Category claimed by the applicant will not be given.

During the form filling process, the applicant can make the entries and save the information.
If the applicant cannot fill the form in one sitting or somehow the process is interrupted, the applicant is NOT required to register again. Applicant can login using the login details sent on his/her mobile number and on the email to continue with the process.
We advise applicants to check all the data entered before the final submission of the application form and fee. In case of any error, the same can be edited or the entire process can be started again.
Once the candidate submits the application fee, one cannot edit entries in the registration page under any circumstances.

Step 1 – Registration
- Applicants have to fill all the relevant details in the form provided. Later, they cannot edit these fields
- Applicants will receive their login details on the mobile number and e-mail ID provided at the time of registration.
Step 2 – Personal Details
- Applicants are required to enter their personal details.
Step 3 – Upload the documents
- Applicants have to upload all the required documents such as scanned photo, signature, left and right Index finger impression and documents related to the subcategory of the claimed reservation.
Step 4 : Educational Qualification
Applicants have to fill their educational qualifications. Enter the aggregate marks of all the subjects mentioned in the mark sheets. Applicants who have appeared for their UG/PG final year/semester examination in 2024 are required to fill the name of their university and their Roll Number.
- All such applicants have to login and fill their UG marks before appearing for counselling, in the absence of which their candidature will be rejected.
Step 5 – Weightage
Applicants should fill their details related to the claim of weight age and upload weightage certificate duly signed by the competent issuing authority.
Step 6 – Choice of Test Centre
- The applicant has to fill Five choices of Test Centre, in order of his/her preference. The Test Centre allotted may differ from his/her choice and the University reserves the right to allot any other Test Centre.
Step 7 – Payments
- The applicant has to deposit the required fee online through Internet banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
Step 8 – Print Application form
- Applicant needs to take a print copy of the duly filled application form and the fee receipt for final completion of the application process. Applicant has to keep the printout of the application form for future reference.
Applicants DO NOT have to send a copy of the printout of the application form to the University
Data Editing
- The applicant can edit the editable data by logging in to the admission website using the login details sent on the registered mobile number and e-mail. In case the Applicant does not remember the login details, he/she can regenerate it, by clicking on the Forgot Password link and enter his/her registration number. We will send the new login details to the registered mobile number.
- Under any circumstances, candidates cannot edit the data submitted on the registration page and the category opted.
