Engineering Workshop
Venkateshwara Group of Institutions (VGI) Meerut organized a 1-day engineering workshop on Scope & employment opportunities in Engineering wherein 100 B.Tech, MTech & diploma students took part.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, VC Prof. P K Bharti, Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh & the Dean Dr Ravi Shankar inaugurated the engineering workshop by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
HOD Lalit Kumar, Keynote speaker Mr Paras Agarwal & Tushar Yadav assisted them in inaugurating the event.
In his inaugural speech, Dr. Sudhir Giri said an engineering student should be familiar with the field in which he should prepare & excel.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi informed that nowadays many engineers are unemployed because they are ignorant of the various opportunities in upcoming fields.
In order to grow, one should know the different opportunities in emerging fields because the market is changing rapidly.
Dr Pratap Singh reiterated that the main purpose of organizing this workshop is to educate engineering students on how to upgrade their skills according to their trade.
Key speakers Paras Agarwal & Tushar Yadav informed students of the various fields in which they can build their career because engineering is the backbone of growth.
They informed of the emerging technologies that are in high demand. They enlightened students about AutoCAD, Solid works, Nsai, Rewet, & stead pro & other software packages because they are used widely.
Those present included the Registrar Ravi Shankar, Deputy COE Dushyant Mishra, Lalit Kumar, Prachi Yadav, Savita, Sunil, Abhinav Rana.
Also present were Mr. Dharmendra Tewatia, & the media in charge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
