The Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut run Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) organized White Coat Ceremony & Charak Oath Celebration for its MBBS students of 2021-22 batch.
The College management & Senior Doctors pledged students to never misuse their position & work for human welfare.
They presented the students a white coat & Stethoscope for their Physician career.
Such ceremonies motivate Doctors to remain committed for human welfare because serving humanity is primordial for all.
Inaugurating the seminar at the Dr C V Raman Central auditorium, Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, lighted a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
They were assisted by VC Prof P K Bharti, MS Dr N K Kalia, and Dean Academics Dr Sanjiv Bhatt .
In his address Dr Sudhir Giri said that during Corona & other pandemics the world noted why we call Doctors the God of Earth.
We expect you to set new records of human welfare through the knowledge & position gained.
The Doctors give life & the society revers them because they work under tremendous pressure & have long shifts. Had the Doctors shunned their duty towards humanity lakhs would have expired because they are indispensable for health.
Dr Sanjiv Bhatt, Dr Vinay Kumar, Dr B B Bora, Dr Atul Verma, Dr Abhishek Yadav, & Dr Ikram Elahi also addressed the gathering.
Those present on the occasion included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut Campus Director Dr Prabhat Srivastava, Director of Admissions Alka Singh, & Senior Gynecologist Dr Rajni Singh,
Also present were Dr Monika, Dr Arpita Srivastava, Dr Rohan Tyagi, Dr V S Tyagi, Dr A S Thakur, Dr Awadhesh & Dr Sachi Ahlawat.
Dr Smriti, Shraddha Pandey, Ashrita Dubey, Reena Joshi, Dr Mahentesh, Dr Gopal Yadav, Dr Shahid Mir & the media in charge Mr Vishwas Rana among others also graced the function.
