Stress a Silent Killer
Venkateshwara Group of Institutions Meerut conducted a workshop on the topic of Stress a Silent Killer.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh & the Keynote Speaker Mrs. Soni Jain inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Psychologist & Career Counselor Mrs. Soni Jain, while addressing the workshop, asserted 75 to 90% of our health problems are related to the mind.
By the year 2030, stress will be the leading cause of all the diseases in the world.
Therefore, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize time and awareness for mental health.
Stress affects our entire immune system. Prolonged stress lowers our immunity & we are engulfed with hordes of problems.
Heart Problems, BP. Sugar, Indigestion are all caused because of stress. During Stressful circumstances, our body releases 30 hormones that affect our body in various ways.
It’s most important to know if we have a psychological problem or not. If we are suffering from one, then by adopting various measures, we can overcome such problems. If the psychological problem is severe, then one should never shy away from taking help because it will affect your personality.
Recently, the Rajasthan Government counselled 15 lakh students across the state. The stress cases are most prevalent amongst the students.
The Pharmacy Director Dr Darpan Kaushik, Academic Dean Dr Abhishek Swami & the T & P Head Ms. Alka Singh also addressed the workshop on Stress a Silent Killer.
Those present included Mr. Abhinav Rana, Neetu Singh, Gaurav Vashisht, Dheeraj, Anupama, Ameesha, Prabal, Atul & the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana.
