The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions hosted a smart phone distribution ceremony to give smart phones under the Swami Vivekananda Youth empowerment scheme of the Uttar Pradesh Government.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh & the Registrar Mr. Manoj Bhatia inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
The Principals Dr Sanjay Tiwari & Dr Nitin Raj Verma joined them to inaugurate the smart phone distribution ceremony at the Meerut Campus.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated in today’s technological era the smart phone is vital for knowledge propagation. The smart phone enables them to gain new information & knowledge.
Further, the Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, stated that this scheme is especially helpful for students who cannot buy a smartphone themselves.
Moreover, the Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, advised students to use the smart phone for academic purpose & not misuse it. This will enable them to gain knowledge easily.
Ms. Sharmila Solanki anchored the program very well.
Dr Sanjay Tiwari & Dr Nitin Raj Verma also addressed the phone distribution ceremony.
