Shri Venkateshwara University felicitated the winners of the Senior Women’s Yogasan Championship which came to a ceremonial conclusion at Chotipura Institution .
Over 582 national and international players from 29 states took part in the championship, which was conducted under the supervision of the Sports Ministry, SAI, and the National Yoga Foundation. The UP Yogasan Federation organized the 4th National Senior Women’s Yogasan Championship from March 11-13.
Further, the Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, felicitated the players & technical officers by gifting them medals from Shri Venkateshwara University.
Dr Rajeev Tyagi is the official representative of the honorable Founder President of Venkateshwara Group, Dr Sudhir Giri. The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, who is the VP of the Kick Boxing Federation of India, was the Chief Guest at the event.
Further, he, along with the officials, honored the winners by gifting them a medal & memento.
The Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, stated in his address that women’s empowerment is at its peak because of honorable PM schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Beti Khilao.
Our girls are winning more medals than boys at national & international events & making the country proud.
The Chotipura Institution is a live example of women empowerment.
The attendees included Dr. Sumedha Arya, Mr. Nempal Singh (Chairman of Anand Degree College), Mr. Rachit Kaushik (Treasurer of Yogasan Bharat), and Mr. Rohit Kaushik (Secretary of UP Yogasan Sports Association).
Piyush Kant Mishra, Yogasan Sports Association District President Mr. Joginder Singh, Secretary Nobahar Singh, VP Mr. Purjeet Singh, Jt. Secretay Poonam Sharma & Sachin Chaudhary were all present.
Also present were Treasurer Komal, Gaurav Dhariwal among others.
