Ranbhoomi 2025

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute, along with the School of Nursing, hosted Ranbhoomi 2025, an annual sports meet with full fanfare & fervour.

Over 1200 participants from Red, Green, Yellow & Blue House will take part in over 2 dozen sporting events.

This sporting extravaganza will run for 4 days & on the last day, we will felicitate winners by gifting them trophy, medal & certificates.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave inaugurated the event by lighting the sports torch and releasing pigeons and balloons in the sky.

The CEO, Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, & the Nursing Dean Dr Ana Erik Brown joined them to unveil the mega sporting event.

First, students of the Venkateshwara School of Nursing presented a mesmerizing inaugural dance that made the event memorable.

Over 2 dozen sporting events comprising Cricket, Kabaddi, Shotput, Javelin, Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Hockey, 100 meters/200 meter/5 Km race, obstacle race, relay including Volleyball will take place during the 4 days sporting extravaganza.

On the first day of Ranbhoomi 2025, players took part in Kabaddi, Javelin, Shotput, 100 meter race along with a dozen events, where they progressed to the next round.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, whether its sports or any life competition, we never lose, either we win or learn something about where did we go wrong? Hence, the youth should always take part in various competitions.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted because of the revolutionary Fit India Khelo India schemes, Indian players are performing remarkably well at International forums.

Those present included the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Ashutosh Gautam, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr VN Jha, Reena Joshi, Dr Rajwardhan Singh, & Dr Dinesh Gautam.

The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was also present.

Dr Vivek Sachan, Dr Mohit Sharma, Maroof Chaudhary, Snehlata Goswami, SS Baghel, Dr Manjari Rana, Dr Manish Sharma, Anusha Karnwal, Rubina, Akhil Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Rashmi Rana were all present.

Also present were Pooja Ari, Neema Bisht, Pratibha, Reena Negi, Harpreet Kaur, Himani, Sumandeep, Pooja Kumari, Junaid, Pooja Sejwali and the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
