National Science Day 2025

On the occasion of National Science Day 2025, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute felicitated the winners by gifting them certificates & mementos. These competitions were running for the past 4 days.

Over 400 students from Shri Venkateshwara University, Gajraula, VGI Meerut, School of Science, Engineering & Applied Sciences took part in the competitions.

They indulged in over a dozen activities, including Model, Poster Making, debate, Quiz & a seminar on innovation in Science.

Along with this, senior Scientists/Educationists advised students to internalize science concepts through understanding and not rote. Further, they advocated R & D that fosters innovation.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The Registrar Dr Piyush Kr. Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, & the Applied Sciences Dean Dr Vishwanath Jha joined them to unveil the National Science Day 2025 function.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated many European countries are dominating the world by making rapid advances in Science & Technology.

The NEP 2020 emphasizes internalizing science concepts by understanding and not through rote. We should move forward by inculcating science in our daily lives.

In order to realize the Viksit Bharat dream, we need to enrich our education system that fosters innovation, imparts values and generates employment.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi announced for promoting R & D in Science, Shri Venkateshwara University has signed educational agreements with over 100 renowned foreign Universities & Institutions.

We are committed to promote research-based education in our institution.

Moreover, the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave affirmed Venkateshwara Group will provide free patenting of the innovative research papers and exclusive scientific products developed by the researches of Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute.

Further, the students presented an excellent cultural program on the occasion of National Science day.

Those present included the Program coordinator Dr VN Jha, Director & Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr CP Singh, Dr Shehjadi Khatun, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Om Prakash Gosai, Dr Rahul Kumar & Dr Ashwini Kr. Saxena.

Moreover, Dr Rajwardhan, Dr Sarvanand Sahu, Dr Yogeshwar Prasad Sharma, Dr LS Rawat, Reena Joshi, Dr Snehlata, & Dr Paramjeet Kaur were all present.

Further, the Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
