National Pharmacy Week
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute’s School of Pharmacy inaugurated a 5 days National Pharmacy Week at its premises.
National Pharmacy Week is a 5-day event where reputed Pharma professionals and educationists will share valuable insights with our students.
Further, they will discuss the latest R&D happening in the Pharmacy world.
On the 1st day, Dr Mata Prasad Chief Guest & CQM Jubilant Chemicals Ltd along with the Dean Dr Mahendra Rana briefed students about the latest R & D happening in the Pharmacy world.
Moreover, senior Officials from reputed companies like Ranbaxy, DRL, Cipla etc., along with over a dozen Pharmacy educationists will take part in the 5 day function.
In addition, we will raise awareness about health by organizing a poster making competition, model making activities, and street plays to emphasize the significance of good health and effective treatment.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, Keynote Speaker Dr. Mata Prasad & Dr Mahendra Rana of Kumaun University inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Moreover, the VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to unveil the 5 day long Pharmacy function.
Dr. Sudhir Giri, Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, emphasized that pharmacy is noble field, as it is dedicated to human health and service, and provides plentiful job opportunities for skilled young individuals.
The Chief Quality Manager, Dr Mata Prasad, asserted pharmacists not only cure patients by dispensing right medicine but also recommend a correct diet & healthy lifestyle to make them healthy.
5 Days long National Pharmacy Week
Dr. Mahendra Rana, a renowned scientist and dean of the School of Biomedical Sciences at Kumaun University Nainital, has announced that Indian pharmaceutical scientists have made significant advancements in research and development.
They have successfully developed cures for Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and many other ailments.
These innovations have brought about revolutionary changes in the global medical field.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the Dean Dr Om Prakash Gosai also addressed the Pharmacy week seminar.
Those present included the Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Pharmacy Deans Dr Ashwini Saxena & Dr Dheeraj Dubey, Dr Mohit Shrivastava, Dr Aditya Sharma, Dr Pankaj, Nitin, Farman, Ashwini Gupta & Manju Rani.
The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
Dr Shilpi Sharma & Dr Arpan Gupta, both Assistant Professors of Pharmacy, conducted the program very well.
