In her address, the Chief Guest Ms. Nalwa stated that in today’s era of digital empowerment, the modus operandi adopted by professional criminals has also changed. This pertains to major crimes like murder, kidnapping & rape, because criminals are now tech savvy.

In these times, providing correct legal aid to the victim is challenging both for the police & the judicial system because perpetuators use technology to their benefit.

For heinous crimes forensic science techniques like DNA test, finger printing, odontology, narco test & ballistic science help police to investigate in the right direction.

These also assist the victim in getting justice in due course.

In today’s time, one cannot get justice without the help of forensic science because it decodes vital evidences searched from the crime scene..

Further, Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that by establishing fast track courts, there is a renewed hope of speedy justice for heinous crimes.

IPS Mr. Ranjan Atri informed that people, especially girls, should never send , accept friend request from strangers. They should never share OTP, PIN or password with anyone to prevent cybercrime.
