Health Awareness Week

On the occasion of World Health Day, Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS), in collaboration with SVU & VGI Meerut concluded Health Awareness Week (April2-7) with full fanfare and fervour.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, & the Dean Dr Atul Verma, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The Academic Dean, Dr Sanjiv Bhatt & Dr Rohan Tyagi, joined them to unveil the Health Awareness Week conclusion ceremony.

During Health Awareness Week, we held health seminars and organized poster-making activities. We offered diagnosis and treatment for skin and venereal diseases.

We also promoted a drug-free India and raised awareness about the prohibition of feticide.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, along with the Prochancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, felicitated the competition winners by giving them memento & certificates.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated because of the honourable PMs, futuristic leadership health services are now available for the common man.

Let us contribute wholeheartedly to realize the PM’s dream of a healthy India.

The Prochancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted because of the honourable PMs Ayushman Bharat scheme, poor people can now avail costly medical treatment free of the cost.

Good health is not the responsibility of the Government alone, but every citizen should contribute to realize the PM’s dream of a healthy India.   

Dr IB Raju CMS VIMS affirmed VIMS students are visiting village after village & educating people on how to maintain good health.

The Hospital CEO Dr H P Singh, informed the Venkateshwara Group, is establishing health centres in villages along with cities to provide free health services to the poor.

Those present included the CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, Hospital CEO Dr H P Singh, MA Chaudhary, CMS Dr IB Raju, VC Dr AK Shukla, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the HOD Dr Pragya Kushwaha.

Dr Rohan Tyagi, Dr Arjun Poswal, Dr Diksha Agarwal, Dr Juhi Kaithwas, Dr Anup Tiwari Dr Sohail Ahmed Dr Manik Tyagi, Dr Prachi Tyagi, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr BS Tyagi were all present.

Also present were Dr Seema Gupta, Dr Shalini Guta, & Dr Rahul Sharma.

The Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh was present & also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
