Ganesh Chaturthi

Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by organizing over a dozen cultural programmes that made the ambience spiritual.

On Ganesh Chaturthi the Medical students performed on a variety of spiritual & film songs, turning the environment devotional because they were preparing in advance for the event.

Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group, Dr Rajiv Tyagi Pro-chancellor & the Chief Priest Ramniwas Shastri, inaugurated the Ganpati Festival by lighting a lamp to Lord Ganesh.

In his address, Dr. Sudhir Giri stated there is no end to the blessings of Shri Ganesh Ji Maharaj because they care for their devotees.

He blesses his devotees with happiness, peace, health, and prosperity.

We, along with the entire Venkateshwara family, wish Ganesh Ji for peace, prosperity and good health for the world.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi said that, by worshipping Ganeshji, they free a man from all the vices and sins & he attains salvation.

After this, the students performed on the heart touching songs of Ganeshji that turned the environment devotional & spiritual. The festivities continued until 4 in the morning on Thursday because we celebrate all occasions with full fanfare.

Those present on the occasion included the VC Prof P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dean Academic Dr Sanjiv Bhatt, Dr B B Bora, Dr B S Tyagi, Dr R N. Singh & Dr Rakesh Yadav.

Noticeable with their presence were the Meerut campus Director Dr Pratap Singh, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dev Pratap Singh, Alka Singh, Braj Pal Singh, Arun Goswami, & Deepak Kumar

Also present were the Media In charge, Mr. Vishwas Rana among others because all the staff took active part in the event.
