Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut collaborated to host a one-week FDP for enhancing classroom engagement. The program focused on “Innovative Strategies for Enhancing Quality Classroom Engagement and Learning Outcomes.”
On the 3rd day, renowned educationist & former AICTE Chairman Prof RS Nirjar, renowned Scientist Prof VPS Arora, Prof Roop Kishore Shastri VC Gurukul Kangri University & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi gave tips to the participants on student & nation development.
They advised teachers to improve themselves to meet current demands and contribute to a better workforce for the nation.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Prof RS Nirjar former AICTE Chairman, Chief Advisor Prof VPS Arora & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Later, the Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, along with the Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, honored the educationists by giving them mementoes.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri exhorted the participants to employ the latest technologies of the current times & called upon the renowned Institutions of the world to establish the Centre of Excellence in India. He praised the NEP 2020 as excellent and historic. However, for its successful implementation, educators need to abandon old teaching methods and embrace the latest technologies.
The CG & VC Gautam Budd Technical University, Prof RS Nirjar, stated teachers are vital for national development but must continuously improve themselves to excel.
Further, the Chief Advisor Prof VPS Arora opined teacher student interaction is vital for improving the attendance of students in class. Prof Arora, who was the former VC of Kumaun University, expressed his views during the second session of the event.
Moreover, the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi asserted outstanding teachers like Abdul Kalam & S. Radhakrishnan who withstood difficult circumstances through a positive attitude are revered all over the country.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi was the Chief Speaker in the fourth session of the FDP for Enhancing Quality Classroom Engagement & learning outcomes .

Dr Om Prakash, Dr Ashwin, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Varsha Yadav, Dr Anil Jaiswal, Dr Uma Mishra, Dr Raj Vardhan, Dr Dinesh Gautam, Dr Snehlata, Arun Goswami, SS Baghel, and Sanjiv Rai all showed up.
