Excellent University in Innovation
It was a memorable day for Shri Venkateshwara University. O2N Digital India awarded Shri Venkateshwara University with the Excellent University in Innovation award 2023 at the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Samagam held at IEML Greater Noida.
The UP Cabinet Minister for Higher Education Science & Technology, Mr. Yogendra Upadhyaya, presented Shri Venkateshwara University with the distinguished award in the presence of over 100 directors, VCs, educationists, diplomats, and scientists from IITs and IIMs.
Cabinet Minister Mr. Yogendra Upadhyaya, along with Prof. RK Khandal, the former VC of UPTU, Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University, Capt. Yogendra Yadav, a Param Vir Chakra awardee, and Dr. Pratap Singh, the Meerut Campus Director, inaugurated the event. They lit a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Mr. Namit Bhati, Chief Coordinator of UP Shiksha Samagam, along with Prof Raj Kumar, Former VC Assam University Prof Virk, and Mrs. Anubhuti Chauhan, President of Arunodaya, helped inaugurate the event.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor & official representative of the Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, received the excellent University in Innovation award 2023 in the presence of high-profile dignitaries.
Further, Dr Rajiv Tyagi honored the Honorable Minister by presenting a special plaque, turban and a memento of the university presented by Dr. Sudhir Giri, Chairman of Venkateshwara Group.
On receiving the award, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated through high-quality education & excellent healthcare services we plan to enlist Shri Venkateshwara University among the top 10 institutes in the country by the year 2030.
Further, he said through the honorable PM’s Digital India- Make in India schemes; the country is fast transitioning from a developing nation to a developed one.
The Excellent University in Innovation award was well received.
Mr. Yogendra Upadhyaya said that the Venkateshwara Group is setting new standards of excellence by providing quality education in healthcare, technology, and medicine, especially in rural areas.
Moreover, the Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, stated that we intend to make Venkateshwara Group one of the country’s top 10 institutes by 2030 through high-quality education, innovation, and research.
Finally, there was a beeline of dignitaries who congratulated Dr Sudhir Giri on receiving the award.
It included the Chief advisor Prof VPS Arora, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, Dr Rajesh Pathak, Prof A P Garg, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the Meerut Campus Dir. Dr Pratap Singh.
Also complimenting were Dr Rajesh Singh, Brajpal Singh, Alka Singh, Arun Goswami, Deepak Kumar, DR BS Tyagi & the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.
