Shri Venkateshwara University and VIMS Multispeciality Hospital held a mega blood donation and cleanliness drive on the second day of the service fortnight celebrating PM Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, DM Mr. Rajesh Tyagi, MLA Dhanora Mr Rajiv Tarara, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & lighting a lamp.
Mr. Rajiv Singh, the Additional Superintendent of Police, and Mr. Shubham Chaudhary, the BJYM District President, teamed up to launch a mega blood donation and cleanliness drive.
A Block of the VIMS Multispecialty hospital under the aegis of Shri Venkateshwara University was the venue of the grand camp.
Many people, including police officers, students, staff, teachers, farmers, and NGOs, donated over 400 units of blood to show love for the Prime Minister.
Moreover, they pledged to save lives by donating blood on various occasions.
Further, the DM, SDM, SP, ASP, and the MLA also volunteered to donate blood.
Further, the Venkateshwara Group began a mega cleanliness drive at its premises to realize PM’s Clean India Healthy India mission. The officials launched the cleanliness drive by cleaning the campus with a broom.
The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, exhorted people to celebrate the PM’s birthday like a festival as he has led to the country to the pinnacle of glory.
Moreover, Mr. Rajiv Tarara MLA Dhanora affirmed the honorable PM has shown the world a rapidly transitioning & growing India.
Mr. Rajesh Tyagi, the DM, stated that the PM’s education, medical, and healthcare services schemes are revolutionary. They have surpassed even the developed nations of the world.
Finally, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, announced that the Venkateshwara Group will hold several events during the service fortnight.
These include organ donation motivation camp, traffic awareness, women empowerment, sports events, cultural programmes, and more.
Those present included the ADM Mr. Surendra Singh, SDM Mahashankar, CMO Dr SP Singh, DSP Mr. Vijay Rana, Regional Minister Ms. Kajal Tyagi & the CMS Dr I B Raju.
Making his presence felt was the Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora. Dr Naushad, Dr Garima Bhatnagar, Dr Divya Girdhar, Neetushree Pal, SS Baghel, Arun Goswami & Akhil Nair were all present.
Lastly, Polin, Deepak Verma, Farheen, Nagar Panchayat President Dr. Anubhuti, GS Mr. Abhinav Kaushik, and Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana were present at the event.
