Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute laid the foundation of a hi-tech agriculture research Centre under the aegis of the School of Agricultural Sciences.

This hi-tech Agriculture research center covering 142 bighas will provide organic farming, food processing, and soil testing lab facilities.

It will also teach scientific farming techniques to double farmers’ income and integrate them into economic development.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave inaugurated the facility by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati & breaking a coconut.

Dr Sudhir Giri, the Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, has emphasized that SVU’s Hi-tech agriculture center will have two major benefits.

First, it will help double the income of farmers by providing them with advanced scientific farming techniques.

Second, it will contribute to their economic development by integrating them into the mainstream of the nation’s overall development.

Through research, innovation and by developing advanced farming techniques, we will develop the Venkateshwara School of Agricultural Sciences into a center of excellence.

The Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, emphasized that the establishment of an agriculture research center, providing soil testing labs, organic farming, food processing, and various advanced agriculture techniques, will benefit farmers, especially those in western Uttar Pradesh. 

Dr TP Singh HOD School of Agriculture Sciences asserted the farmer will be a real beneficiary & not the middlemen if he adopts organic farming, food processing & other advanced scientific farming techniques.

Moreover, Dr TP Singh is a Former Senior Agriculture Scientist associated with the prestigious IARI, New Delhi.

Hi-Tech Agriculture Research Centre for promoting best agriculture practices.

Former Agriculture scientist Dr. CP Singh stated that advanced farming techniques will not only strengthen the country’s economy, but also lay the foundation for a developed nation by 2047, emphasizing the importance of modern agricultural practices. 

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave also addressed the agriculture research center inauguration ceremony.

Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Dinesh Gautam, Dr VN Jha, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Mata Prasad, Dr Neetu Panwar and Dr SN Sahu.

Moreover, Dr Rajwardhan, Dr Ashutosh, Mr. SS Baghel, Dr Laxmi Kant, Dr Aashiya Wahid Dr Vijay Kumar Singh, Dr Abhishek Singh, Dr Chandrakant Yadav, Dr Brijkishore & Mr. Kaushal Kumar were all present.

The Meerut Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, was present along with the Media Incharge, Mr. Vishwas Rana, among others.
