There are not enough states that conduct the D.El.Ed Entrance Exam 2025 for admission to D.El.Ed because many give admission based on merit in 10th, 12th and graduation.

Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (AP DEECET) 2025

The tentative time for AP DEECET is in June 2025. The registration & application process will begin in May 2025.

AP DEECET is an offline exam of 150 minutes to shortlist candidates for the 2 year D.El.Ed course.

The test assess the candidate’s knowledge in the domain of GK, teaching aptitude and medium of instruction (Telugu/English/Urdu). It tests the candidate’s aptitude & knowledge required for teaching at the elementary level.

The level of questions is 10+2 level of the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education. Hence, students should study the syllabus well for scoring well in the exam.

SCERT Delhi (State Council of Educational Research & Training)

SCERT Delhi conducts an online CBT for short-listing candidates for the 2 years D.El.Ed course at its affiliated institutions.

85% of all seats are reserved for candidates who passed 10+2 (qualifying exam) from Delhi, while the rest 15% are reserved for outside Delhi candidates.

The CBT will comprise 150 questions of 150 marks. The test duration is 2 hours. Admission to the SCERT Delhi D.El.Ed course is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination.

SCERT Haryana D.El.Ed

As per information available from SCERT Haryana, in 2024 there is no entrance exam for D.El.Ed admission in Haryana.

So it’s unlikely that in 2025 any D.El.Ed entrance exam would be conducted for pursuing D.El.Ed in Haryana.

Hence, we advise candidates to score well in their 10+2 examination because selection for D.El.Ed in Haryana is based on the marks gained in 10+2 examination.

The general steps involved in the D.El.Ed admission process are:

Application Form Submission: Whether the admission process involves an entrance test or through merit, both of them require candidates to register online & fill in their personal & educational details.
