BALLB Entrance Exams for BALLB Admission 2025

Syllabus of different law entrance exams in the country:

AILETThe exam has 120 questions divided into three sections: Logical Reasoning, English Language, and Current Affairs. The Logical Reasoning section carries about 50% of the total weight. This section includes questions that assess candidates’ understanding of legal principles.
CLAT UGThe exam consists of 150 questions, each worth 1 mark, and is divided into five sections: Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs (including General Knowledge), Quantitative Techniques, and English Language. Current Affairs and Legal Reasoning carry the highest weight, and candidates should also focus on Quantitative Techniques.
CUETSection 1 A (Language) – In this section, candidates have 13 language options. They can choose any language out of these. Candidates have to attempt 40 out of 50 questions in this section. Section 2 Legal Studies- Candidates will have to attempt 35-40 questions from among 45-50 questions in this section and they will get 45 minutes for this section. Section 3 (General Test) – The general test will be for 60 minutes and candidates have to attempt 50 out of 60 questions. This section will test the candidates on general awareness, reasoning, and numerical ability

BALLB eligibility

Candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB after completing their 12th grade must meet the following criteria:

1. Complete Class 12 in any stream from a recognized school.

2. Achieve a minimum aggregate score of 45 percent in Class 12.

3. There is no age limit for pursuing this course.

There is tremendous scope after BALLB because it allows youngsters to pursue law right after passing class 12th. While earlier, one has to be a graduate first before doing LLB. The advantage of BALLB over LLB is that the former completes in 5 years and allows students to enroll in BALLB just after passing class 12th.
