Share

One should choose pharmacy as a career because Pharmacists enable people regain health by administering life-saving drugs.

When the world come to a standstill because of Corona, the Pharmacists were a bridge between the Doctor & patient.

The pandemic induced hardships reaffirmed people’s faith in Pharmacists because of their knowledge & role.

When all professions were dying, Pharmacy recorded tremendous growth because health is vital for all.

The government allowed pharmacies to operate during lockdown because they distribute lifesaving medicines vital for life.

As per IMS Health, the world’s largest pharmaceutical research firm, the Indian Pharma market grew 59% in April 2021 YOY compared to 16% YOY in March 2021.

We attribute this to the second Corona wave that ripped through the country, causing mortality & forcing patient to buy medicines.

People realized the importance of Pharmacists because they helped patients recover faster by distributing drugs.

India is the largest generic drugs & vaccines supplier because we have trained manpower & low production costs.

Pharmacists provide vital nutrients & multivitamins that boost immunity because strong immunity prevents severe infection.

The Indian pharmaceutical sector is witnessing massive growth because firms have realized the importance of researched drugs.

Companies undertaking research will survive because the market is innovation driven, demanding potent drugs at reasonable rates.

India supplies over 20% of the generic drugs because we have the technical manpower & low production costs.

Companies should innovate USFDA approved superior molecules because innovation is the key for survival.

Why Pharmacy as a Career for innovation

Companies that innovate & produce better products will dominate the global market because of reduced production costs.

Firms should focus on R & D because it is crucial for survival during cutthroat competition.

Pharmacy graduates should endure in labs to adept formulation techniques because it fosters critical thinking vital for innovation.

India is the 10th largest pharmaceutical product exporter in the world because of trained manpower.

Pharmacy offers self-employment because one can open retail pharmacy that offers a steady income.

It is a recession proof industry because with growing incomes, people are becoming more health conscious buying multivitamins & proteins.

Pharmaceutical sector contributes around 6% to India’s foreign exchange because we are exporting to over 200 countries.

This proves the credibility of the pharmacy sector because it offers a stable career based on strong business fundamentals.

I am not negating other careers like software development, which creates tremendous hype because of the dollar exchange rate. Software & IT is service industries which grow based on favorable government in the USA who are ready to outsource work.

While Pharmaceuticals are crucial because a career that gives life is always evergreen.

Pharmacy as a career is important because discovering lifesaving medicine establishes credibility in the world.

India’ Bharat Biotech is being reckoned because it manufactured Cowaxin India’s indigenous Corona vaccine.

They grabbed this opportunity & developed the vaccine because vaccines are potent safeguards against viruses.

Tremendous Opportunity

In fact, India’s Pharma entrepreneurs should exploit this opportunity & set up unicorns that create value by innovating new molecules.

India is a young country with over 60% youngsters who can make the country into an innovation hub, providing innovative solutions to the world.

Elders are sustaining their health by consuming multivitamins & proteins because they provide the supplements. This sustains Pharmacy as a successful career because, for humanity to survive, Pharmacists are indispensable.

Pharmacy as a career is vital because it’s in sync with Make in India, making India self-reliant in critical areas.

Companies are revamping their R & D because India needs to be self-reliant in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) used for manufacturing drug.

This fresh development offers tremendous opportunities for pharmacy graduates because companies will hire them in large numbers. They should refine their research acumen because they can develop new drugs by enduring in labs.

The GOI is providing enough impetus to the Pharmaceutical sector because it contributes enormously to our foreign exchange reserves.

Pharmacy as a career fares better than other professions because mankind is striving for neutralizing Cardio Vascular disease (CVD) like hypertension.

Many Indians are succumbing to CVD’s because of a sedentary lifestyle & lack of a cure for it.

Any firm that decodes CVDs will rule the global pharmaceutical market because CVDs kill people in their most productive years.

Hypertension is making patient’s life miserable because without daily medication they cannot complete their task.

Pharmacy is a wonderful career option because it provides lifesaving medication in collaboration with Doctors & healthcare workers.
