Why is teaching satisfying

Share

Teaching is satisfying because it provides the opportunity to make a difference in children’s life through effective teaching.

A competent teacher works hard to prepare the topic so that most students grasp the concept.

When every child understands the concept, it is satisfying because the teachers’ effort have borne fruit.

Teachers are the role models for their students because they emulate them for discipline, & communication.

Hence, teachers should exhibit confidence, punctuality & above all, excellent subject knowledge because they are the knowledge givers.

Teaching is satisfying because children improving their performance is a fallout of the best teaching practices adopted by the teacher.

Teachers should reduce the child’s burden because they are the masters of their subject.

This is specifically true for PGT teaching Science & Mathematics because students struggle to cope with these subjects.

The books are bulky enough to terrify any teenager hard pressed to score well in the boards.

Children spend a full 7 hours in school, leaving them with little time for tuitions & self-study. The inability of school teachers to clarify concepts forces children to attend tuitions as they fear losing marks on boards.

To overcome this, they daily spend another 3-4 hours attending tuitions which further reduces time for self-study.

A PGT Physics should approach his topics in a way that most students imbibe the concepts, eradicating any need for external tuitions.

When teachers teach well, students will imbibe concepts & this will satisfy teachers with their work.

For India to excel in Science & technology, teachers should create interest by experimenting in labs & correlating with real life.

Why is teaching satisfying as it nurtures innovators

Just teaching to complete the syllabus is unethical because Indians struggle to innovate.

Until teachers generate interest in Science students will continue to skip the topic because they are not enjoying the subject. To get good marks, they attend tuitions which are uneasy because they get less time for self-study.

The lack of interest in Science prompted the government to launch the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) which nurtures young scientists from school itself.

It aimed these initiatives at fostering interest in pure Science because it nurtures invention critical for success.

The Department of science & Technology GOI provides research grants on crucial areas because technology transfer is costly & difficult. Teachers should nurture innovative mindset in schools because students are energetic & teachers should inspire them for innovation.

Teachers should encourage them to take part in Science Olympiads, & model making competitions because it fosters thinking skills vital for technocrats.

Teaching is satisfying because it guides & clarifies doubts to make confident professionals. India needs teachers who build an interest in Science & Mathematics because they are the pillars of growth.

Just encouraging for good grades is inadequate.

In fact, teachers should motivate students for STEM careers because it is the need of the hour.

A teacher would be delighted to see his pupils win the young Scientists award or the chief innovator of a lifesaving drug.

The teachers of Bharat Biotech owners should credit themselves of nurturing innovators who saved millions against the virus.

Teaching is satisfying because they teach underprivileged children & provide an opportunity to improve their life.

Venkateshwara Group of Institutions (VGI) Meerut nurtures teachers who strive to make India self-reliant in Science & technology because it is vital for development.
