JEECUP Counselling process for Main Counselling (1st to 3rd round)

Aspirants seeking admission to D Pharma in government, aided, and private institutions in UP are required to take the JEE (Polytechnic) conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP).
Important Note : Candidates from outside UP can take part in the 4th round of counselling.
While logging in for counselling, candidates will select the institute and course options through their login ID on the counseling portal https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
-Candidates taking part in the counseling of the above three stages will fill the options in the respective stage. In the next phase, allotment will be done based on seat choices filled by the candidate in the previous phase only.
No correction/change will be possible in the filled seats. Therefore, it would be appropriate to select maximum options by studying the opening and closing ranks of the last year-2023.
Candidates will have to choose the Freeze/Float option after the allotment of seat as per their choice filling.
Candidates who freeze their allotted seat will have to visit the district help centers for document verification. After document verification, they will have to deposit online the institute admission fees.

In case of selecting float option, the candidate will have to deposit a tentative amount of Rs. 3250/- security amount and counseling fee.
After the 1st round of seat allotment, if any candidate chooses float option & does not deposit the Counselling & security fees, then he/she will not be eligible for 2nd & 3rd round of JEECUP counselling.
Similarly, candidates who exercise the freeze option but don’t verify their documents and don’t pay the admission fees within the stipulated time frame will not be eligible for 2nd & 3rd round of counselling.
Candidates who don’t verify their documents after freezing the allotted seat will not receive fees refund under any circumstances.
Such candidates can take part in special counselling from round 4 onwards. This process will be followed in the Special Counselling as well.
After document verification, candidates of government and aided polytechnic institutions will deposit the entire fee through their login on the due dates.

The special counselling for the 4th and 5th rounds of JEECUP is designed for candidates who have not taken admission in any institution till the third phase of main counselling.

1. Candidates taking part in the special round of JEECUP counseling will fill their options only in the phase in which they have taken part. In the next phase, allotment will be done based on seat choices filled by the candidate in the previous phase only.
No correction/change will be possible in the seats selected by the candidates. Therefore, it would be appropriate to select options by studying the opening and closing ranks of the previous years.
2. In the fourth and fifth phase of the special cycle, document verification will be done only at the help centers in the government and aided polytechnic institutions built in all the districts of the state.
3. Only those candidates will take part in the 4th and 5th phase of special JEECUP counselling, who have appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination-2023 and have not taken admission to any institution till the third phase of main counselling.
4. In the fourth and fifth phase of special JEECUP counselling, candidates from outside the state of Uttar Pradesh (Other State Candidates) will also be eligible to take part in the counselling.
5. If a candidate is allotted a seat in the fourth and fifth phase of special counselling, then it will be mandatory to get the document verification done and deposit the prescribed fee by the prescribed dates in the same phase.
If any candidate does not submit the prescribed fee for document verification and thereafter, he will be ineligible for all further stages of counselling. Therefore, candidates should fill only those options in which they are interested for admission.
6. After document verification, candidates of government, aided and private sector polytechnic institutions can pay the seat acceptance and counseling fee and the remaining tuition fee on the prescribed last date through their login through https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
The authorities will soon announce the JEECUP counselling dates after the conduct of exam from 13/06/24 to 20/06/24.

Moreover, the tentative date for result announcement is 01/07/2024. Hence, candidates should keep checking the official website for any updates.
The Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharma) admissions will take place through JEECUP merit score. D Pharma aspirants need to prepare thoroughly because all Government, aided, and private Pharmacy colleges in UP will admit students exclusively through JEECUP.
The UP polytechnic counselling for JEECUP 2024 is scheduled to commence in September 2024
