How can I become a teacher?

Share

For becoming a teacher one should do a B.ed because it’s the widely accepted qualification for teaching.

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree prepares for a teaching career because it inculcates best teaching practices.

The demand for a B.ed has grown exponentially because it’s the mandatory qualification for teaching in schools.

Teaching is an everlasting profession because for humanity to survive, we need new skills.

The eligibility for doing B.ed is:

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Sciences/ Humanities.

For Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science & Mathematics with 55% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidate. + UP JEE B.Ed Counselling.

Most Postgraduates have good subject knowledge as they study their subject well leading to conceptual clarity.

A B.ed imparts best teaching practices because it inculcates the optimum method to teach a topic for easy understanding.

A budding teacher should put himself in the child’s shoes to find the best way of teaching. Teachers adopt methods like lecturing, activity based learning, quizzes & group tasks to foster learning because children learn through varied ways.

With CBSE stressing on HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) the focus is on learning by understanding & not rote. A teacher teaches all other professions; hence, they should update themselves with new competencies for efficient teaching.

MJPR University Bareilly conducted the UP B.Ed Jee 2022 one of the prestigious B.ed exams on July 6th & announced the results on Aug 5th for admission to B.ed colleges in UP.

Schools prefer a B.ed from UP because the curriculum is in sync with the current requirements of teaching.

All candidates who appeared in UP B.ed JEE & eligible for counselling should keep their documents ready because counselling may start from Sept 28th.

How can I become a teacher in UP

The mad rush for a B.ed seat is giving anxious moments to candidates because around 2 lakh seats are up for grabs.

Around 5.7 lakh candidates appeared in the UP B.ed JEE, making it one of the prestigious exams in the country. Those ranking behind should go for provisional admission to secure their seat otherwise they may get poor quality colleges marring their future.

All candidates who appeared in UP B.ed JEE 2022 & are eligible for counselling should go for advance seat booking at VGI Meerut because it’s one of the oldest B.ed institutions in UP.

Those ranking beyond 250000 cannot get aided colleges because higher rankers will get those colleges.

CCS University Meerut offers the widest choice for B.ed colleges because it has the maximum 43000 seats in UP.

Candidates should explore colleges in Meerut because it’s an education city offering tremendous opportunities to teachers. Its proximity to Delhi throws innumerous opportunities for teachers because NCR is home to Edtech companies that hire teachers.

The city is cosmopolitan with people of all faiths & communities living in complete harmony. Take the first step towards a satisfying teaching career before you miss the bus.
