Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut, in collaboration with UP police, organized a 1 day seminar on Mission Shakti, Cyber Crime, & the growing drug abuse among youth.
In the seminar, the DIG Moradabad, Mr. Shalabh Mathur, along with senior officials took part & advocated to curb cybercrime, drug abuse & foster women empowerment through mission Shakti.
They partnered with the Venkateshwara Group for spreading awareness in the entire UP West for curbing such issues involving the youth.
DIG Mr. Shalabh Mathur, Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, SP Amroha Mr. Aditya Lange, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Additional SP Mr. Rajiv Singh inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Mr. Shalabh Mathur informed that by collaborating with schools, colleges & Universities, the UP Govt is breaking the backbone of those involved in the illegal drug trade.
Mr. Aditya Lange reiterated that the youth is falling prey to cybercrime & especially girls who’s ID are morphed the most. Further, they should never share their password & keep their IDs locked for safety.
Likewise, Dr Sudhir Giri highlighted that under the able leadership of Modi Ji & Yogi Ji both the country & state are now crime free & new avenues of investment are opening up because security fosters business activity.
Further, Dr. Rajiv Tyagi declared Venkateshwara Group along with UP Police will launch an awareness campaign against Cyber Crime & drug abuse in the schools & colleges of Up West.
Similarly, Mr. Rajiv Kr Singh elaborated that the Mission Shakti has provided a new direction to women’s safety & empowerment because they are the other half of the population.
Those present included the VC Prof P K Bharti, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Meerut campus director Dr Pratap Singh, Dean Medical Dr Sanjiv Bhatt, Dr N K Kalia, Dr Rakesh Yadav & Alka Singh.
Also present were S S Baghel, Arun Goswami, Rakesh Kumar, G Katiyar, J P Singh, Ashrita Dubey, Sanjiv Rai, Pritpal and the media in charge Mr Vishwas Rana among others.
