The most suitable course after d pharma is B Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) because it’s a graduate qualification in pharmacy.

Pharmacy is indispensable because it provides medicines that give a new lease of life to the patients. 

D Pharma is the stepping stone for an illustrious career because they study prescriptions, explain drug regimen & make the drugs available at their store. 

The best bachelor degree courses after D Pharma are: 

  • Pharmacy (Hons.)–4 Years.
  • Bachelor in Pharmacy–4 Years
  • (Lateral Entry) Bachelor in Pharmacy–3 Years

Except for the Bachelor in Pharmacy (lateral entry) option, you can pursue these courses directly after class 12th in Science, i.e., D-pharma is not required.

Eligibility Criteria for pursuing D Pharma

10+2 with PCB/PCM for a recognized board 

Eligibility for doing B Pharma 

First year B. Pharm: Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as a subject and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C. M) and or Biology.

(P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. 

B. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester): A pass in D. Pharm Course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy act.

Eligibility: A Pass in the B. Pharm Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B. Pharm.) 

Ph.D.: Candidates who wish to pursue a career as a Biomedical Scientist, Healthcare Scientist, Clinical Research Associate, Analytical Chemist, Clinical Pharmacologist, etc. take up extensive research-oriented programs like PhD in Pharmacy, which is one of the best course after D Pharma provided one is post graduate in Pharmacy.
