Lean Six Sigma Concept for Operational Excellence
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), hosted a 2-day workshop on Lean Six Sigma Concept for Operational Excellence.
The Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker Dr Pravin R Joshi trained the staff & students on how to prevent wastage of resources and become a role model at their workplace by enhancing their productivity.
Dr Pravin R Joshi is a renowned business coach and former Deputy Director, MSME GOI.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, CG Dr Pravin R Joshi, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
The VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave and Dr Rajesh Singh joined them to unveil the national workshop on Lean Six Sigma Concept for Operational Excellence.
Dr. Sudhir Giri, Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, stated that if just 20% of our companies earn Lean Six Sigma certification, India could become a world leader in five years.
The Keynote Speaker, Dr. Pravin R. Joshi, emphasized the importance of implementing the Lean Six Sigma Concept at work.
This concept prevents wastage of manpower, machine, material, method, and money. By implementing it, people can improve their productivity and contribute to the development of their organization and nation.
Moreover, by using Lean Six Sigma, we can reduce waste and improve efficiency, making us role models in our workplace.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi further asserted by implementing Lean Six Sigma Concept, Japanese Car Maker Toyota has become a world leader in the automobile sector.
Moreover, the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave affirmed Lean Six Sigma Concept has enabled the renowned Mumbai Dabbawalla to deliver over 1.5 lakh tiffin’s on time to its designated customers without mistake.
The VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave, Dr Rajesh Singh, & Prof. VN Jha, also addressed the 2 day national workshop.
Those present included Dr TP Singh, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr Ashutosh, Dr Dinesh Gautam, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Rajwardhan, Dr Om Prakash Gosai & Dr Ashwin Saxena.
