 UP D.El.Ed 2024 application form date and Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their 10th and 12th grades from the UP Education Board Prayagraj, CBSE, ICSE, or other state boards recognized by the government. They must have graduated from a university or college recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks. 

For SC/ST/OBC/PH/Freedom Fighters dependent/Ex-soldier (self) candidates will have a rebate of 5% in the minimum eligibility criteria.

Minimum age requirement: 18 years

Maximum age limit: 35 years

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC categories will be eligible for a 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit. 

According to Government Order No. 7/2016/720/15.07.2016, candidates holding a 3-year diploma recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education UP will be deemed equivalent to 12th grade of the UP Education Board, Prayagraj. 

The D.El.Ed Training Regulatory Authority of the UP Government prefers candidates domiciled in UP for D.El.Ed admission in UP.

Therefore, during document verification, candidates need to produce their UP domicile certificate, attested by the relevant officer from their home district,

The domicile certificate must be valid till the date of the D.El.Ed entrance exam; otherwise, the candidacy of the candidate stands cancelled. 

After the first round of document verification and selection process, if there are vacant seats, the authorities will permit candidates from other states to choose institutes for the remaining seats in the second round.”
