Duration of d pharma course

The duration of the D Pharma course is 2 years which Science students can pursue after class 12th. The course imparts in-depth knowledge of science and technique behind the formulation of pharmacy practice and medicines management. 

Pharmacy is the science of preparing and dispensing drugs. The D pharma course duration involves studying the principles of health sciences, biology and chemical sciences to create and dispense pharmaceutical drugs. 

The Pharmacy Council of India regulates the Pharmacy education in the country, hence the curriculum & syllabi is as per the PCI.

In D Pharma, students learn about the chemical and physical properties of chemical structure and uses of pharmaceutical formulae. The programme encompasses knowledge about the natural medicines which are gathered from plants animals marine and biological sources.
